Somayeh Nassiri serving as co-organizer for Future Cities Competition

CESTiCC researcher Somayeh Nassiri will serve as the co-chair with WSU’s Cara Morton for the regional Future Cities Competition at WSU’s Pullman campus on January 14, 2017. Future Cities is a national program that challenges 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students to research and design a future city that showcases their answer for a current sustainability challenge. Regional winners in Pullman will go on to a sectional competition in Seattle. Winners at Sectionals will go on to the national competition in Washington D.C. This is the second year Somayeh has participated in this program. Keep up the good work!
