Srijan Aggarwal leads class for UAF Inside Out

CESTiCC researcher Dr. Srijan Aggarwal led the College of Engineering and Mines class for UAF’s preview day, Inside Out. Inside Out is a once a semester showcase of all that UAF has to offer for high school juniors and seniors and their families. Dr. Aggarwal’s presentation was entitled Air Pollution and introduced students key concepts in environmental engineering and focused on the important of practical solutions, not just theoretical or simulated solutions. Air pollution is a particularly important environmental topic for interior Alaska in winter, and is the subject of his CESTiCC project on evaluating fine particulate matter (PM2.5) and ultrafine particulate matter (PM0.1) in Interior Alaska. Keep up the good work, Dr. Aggarwal!
