Dr. Al-Badri’s research interests include novel algorithms for electric machine efficiency determination, electrical machine design, renewable energy systems and power system analysis.

Dr. Al-Badri’s current research is design a rapid efficiency estimation technique for induction machines in collaboration with Concordia University and Hydro-Québec.
