UAF steelbridge team wins second place at Regionals and heads to Nationals

The UAF steelbridge team earned second place overall at this year's Northwest Regional competition in Seattle. The bridge being submitted was judged according to the following categories: efficiency, stiffness, economy, lightness, aesthetics, and construction speed. In the display and stiffness categories, the UAF team made first place honors and is now heading to Nationals.
