We are finishing what we started – finally!
The final funding piece to complete the CEM Engineering Learning and Innovation Facility (ELIF) has recently been approved by the UA Board of Regents, and construction is now underway to complete the facility. Now scheduled for completion by the spring of 2018, this state-of- the-art 120,000 square foot engineering facility will provide what the 2006 Ira Fink Study recommended to keep up with our growing student enrollment at CEM, as well as our research needs. Industry is demanding more arctic-trained engineers in many engineering disciplines, and enrollment numbers continue to climb.
