CEM Students Receive Awards at AEG Meeting
Two CEM Geological Engineering undergraduate students, Kate Clancy and Ryan McCoy, won awards at the 2017 Annual Meeting of Engineering and Environmental Geologists (AEG). Kate received first place in the Poster Presentation Competition for her poster "Study of the Interaction of Water Tracks with Soil Piping to Prevent Subsidence in Alaskan Soils" while Ryan won the Lemke Award and third place for his poster "From Cradle to Lobe: Catchment Characteristics Supporting Frozen Debris Lobe Formation, Brooks Range, Alaska."
